Therapy

My fee for psychological assessment and therapy is from £115 for a 55 minute session.

I require payment 24 hours prior to each session, via bank transfer. This is to secure your appointment along with the therapy room (if you’re having face-to-face therapy) that we will be using.

If you need to cancel an appointment, I require 24 hours notice, otherwise the full session fee will be charged.

If you have private health insurance, I am also a registered provider with Bupa, Aviva, AXA, Cigna and WPA.

Why choose a Counselling Psychologist?

Private therapy is an investment of your time and finances so you need to be sure you are working with a suitably qualified clinician.

The term ‘Counselling Psychologist' is a protected title (it is illegal to describe yourself as this unless you are a regulated doctor of counselling psychology). Counselling psychologists are rigorously assessed during their doctoral training and have extensive experience working in the NHS and charitable organisations as part of their standard qualification. I had year-long placements where I trained in cognitive behaviour therapies and psychodynamic therapy, and specialist placements working with primary school children and women during the perinatal period.
